Communication Access Center has a long tradition of providing the state of Michigan the highest quality sign language interpreters in a variety of settings. Settings include but are not limited to medical, mental health, legal / court, educational, corporate meetings / trainings, counseling and seminars / conferences. Unlike other interpreting services, CAC has the distinct ability to match interpreters based on their unique skills and expertise to best serve both Deaf and Hearing consumers.
CAC currently works with a large network of private contract interpreters.
In compliance with the Michigan Deaf Persons’ Interpreter Act (MI PA 204), CAC only employs individuals that hold a current interpreting credential and are listed with the State of Michigan.
