Teacher Aide/One-on-One Aide/SXI Aide:
Performs a variety of activities involving the providing of teaching assistance for teachers instructing students at the Michigan School for the Deaf and Blind on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
All teacher aides must possess a high school diploma, sign language skills at the intermediate+ level as measured on the Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI), knowledge of deaf culture, and clear criminal history. Must be drug, TB and Communicable Disease free.

Substitute Teacher:
Provides education on an as-needed basis to students of Michigan School for the Deaf and Blind.
Qualifications:
All teachers must possess a teaching certificate or a permit. MSD teachers must possess sign language skills at the Intermediate+ level as measured on the Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI) as administered by MSD. Visually impaired teaching certificate is preferred for teachers at MSB. Must be drug, TB and Communicable Disease free.

Provide interpreting services to the deaf community on an as-needed basis.Qualifications:

CCNA or MCSE certified Information Technology professional with extensive experience in Networking Engineering and Administration. Able to configure, support and manage Cisco Routers and Switches (7000 series). Must have network infrastructure provision, configuration and installation experience for managing 12-15 Microsoft windows-based servers. Able to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve voice and data communication over local network.

Director of Human Resources:
The Human Resources Director designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs in compliance with the State/Federal law.
